You can find:
Quality, difference and extra virgin organic olive oil.
It’s an organic and sustainable company where we produce flavourful olive oils. We ourselves monitor the different process, from agricultural works in the olive grove to olive oil production in our facilities, bottling and commercialisation, obtaining extraordinary olive oils.
There are tasting courses for beginners and oil tasting with visit to our premises. The price is €8 and we give you a 250 ml bottle of our extra virgin olive oil.
Breakfast is available in the mill: the price is €8 for the visit to the oil mill including breakfast with country style bread, olive oil from our three different varieties, mature cheese and coffee.

Ideal for:
People who want to discover more about the best products from our land, aware of care for the environment and gastronomy, those who look for what they want appreciating the difference of an organic product of great quality.

What’s so special about it?
Being an extra virgin organic olive oil.
We produce three single-varietals of olive oils: ARBEQUINA, PICUAL, CORNICABRA. Thus, we can enjoy the different organoleptic properties that each variety brings us.
High quality olive oils, recognised and awarded at national and international level.

One detail:
When tasting these olive oils we can enjoy the differences and singularities of each one, both through the smell and the taste; it’s something that the senses learn to enjoy.

“I have had this dream for many years, in a farm family who had always been taking care of their children. This dream was our own mill.”

De Orteguas oil mill recommends you:
“I always recommend a good dish of local food with a good wine from Yecla as a gastronomic experience. We also recommend as a tourist experience to take a stroll around the town centre by making known the little we have, especially the area from the Basílica of la Purísima to the Iglesia Vieja (“Old church”). Experience on the outskirts of the town, there are very beautiful areas, such as zona Hoya Hermosa- Tobarrillas, Sierra Salinas and its caves, in Monte Arabí.”
