The area is included within the definition of protected area for the cultural interest sites (“Bien de Interés Cultural”) of Cantos de Visera I and II, Abrigos del Mediodía I and II and petroglyphs, located in Monte Arabí.
Description:
We can find large Aleppo pines (Pinus halepensis) with a trunk diameter (1,30 metres): 3,34 metres and about 14 metres high. This variety of tree is located next to a road leading to the Casa del Guarda (“the house of the guard”) in Monte Arabí and to some close pens with Aleppo pines, esparto field, rosemary, juniper, etc.
