It’s situated 17,5 kilometres northwest of the town centre, close to the Casa del Guarda (“the house of the guard”) in Monte Arabí.

What’s so special about it?:
It’s a noteworthy specimen due to its dimensions which serves as the entrance to the Casa del Guarda.
The area is included within the definition of protected area for the cultural interest sites (“Bien de Interés Cultural”) of Cantos de Visera I and II, Abrigos del Mediodía I and II and petroglyphs, located in Monte Arabí.
We can find large Aleppo pines (Pinus halepensis) with a trunk diameter (1,30 metres): 3,34 metres and about 14 metres high. This variety of tree is located next to a road leading to the Casa del Guarda (“the house of the guard”) in Monte Arabí and to some close pens with Aleppo pines, esparto field, rosemary, juniper, etc.
