It’s a specimen of singular shape.
Description:
It’s an Aleppo pine (Pinus halepensis) of medium dimensions making the shape of an elephant’s head. This variety of tree is partially hanging over the vertical of a slope formed by the backdrop of the ravine, 7 metres high. It has variable trunk diameter of 1,25 metres (1 m) approximately, and 9 metres of total height. This tree of whimsical shape has a leaning trunk with visible roots. It is located in the Rambla de Tobarrillas, next to the Viña del lobo, surrounded by pine wood and brushwood and some ponds.
