This festival marks the Veraison of Monastrell, a magical moment worthy of celebration. The veraison process occurs in summer and is considered the start of a countdown allowing the time of the harvest to be calculated, which occurs approximately two months later. With this event, Yecla Wine Route welcomes summer.
