One detail:
It isn’t included in any protected area.

What’s so special about it?:
It’s a spring or well of natural recharge. In spite of being in poor condition, it is an interesting elm grove, since its elms have died of Dutch elm disease. Here you can find wet grasslands of reeds, with the water table close to the surface. There are several species of amphibians, Spanish ribbed newt standing out. Different bird species breed on the elm grove, which was in poor condition in 2005.

Description:
It’s a spring flowing through a small valley and borders of land parcels, in a farming environment which consists of an underground riverbed 550 metres long, with 8 ventilation shafts with short square parapets sealed with cement. There is another riverbed 233 metres long going through a wet grassland formed by Scirpus, true grasses and other plants. It also has a water pipe with drinking troughs made from ashlar and masonry, as well as a pond. You can find an elm grove (Ulmus minor) at the foot of the water pond.
